After the dramatic curves of the S-bend silhouette, the fashionable figure of the early 1900s gradually shifted to favor a long, columnar line instead. The bust remained low and full, but the hip-line narrowed before flaring out again in the later in the decade.
Our 1910s underbust corset smooths the waist and hips without supporting the bust. The bottom edge extends to the low hip, but the boning stops several inches higher, allowing the wearer to sit comfortably. We have 1910s corsets in a mid-bust style as well, though the underbust variety was much more common in the period. Typically, they would have been worn with a bust bodice, or an early type of bra, to support the bust. (Although a modern bra can also work—don't worry, we won't tell!)

- Front-opening steel busk
- Steel boning throughout
- Plus sizes (18–26) feature additional boning for added support, as well as an additional front seam to provide more shaping
- Center back lacing with two-piece nickel grommets
