The Sylvie stays are based closely on extant stays from the late 1820s to early 1840s, when a slightly raised waist and gently hourglass silhouette was in style. These stays are essentially a more decorative version of our stock 1830s stays, and feature additional cording and detailing and ecru fabric.

The Sylvie covers the same time period as the Charlotte, but provides more structure and support for folks who desire it.

Made to your measurements. mockup is included with all Atelier orders for a fully bespoke experience.

Due to the varying availability of materials, some minor details may change such as exact lace/trims etc. We can customize most details, colors, materials, etc.

Details:
  • Custom-dyed off-white cotton sateen fashion fabric
  • Cotton coutil strength layer
  • Spiral and straight steel boning
  • Curved wooden busk
  • Cording for support and detail
  • 2-piece nickel grommets
  • Machine sewn
Atelier pricing includes all details as photographed as well as mockup. Please contact us for custom colors, fabrics, or other design changes. Let us make you something amazing.
