The Margaret features all of the curve and drama of the first bustle era. We drafted this pattern based on the many examples of corsets from this period which have both shapely seams and gores. We have taken care to copy the tiny details of this era, including the waist hook, small parallel bones at the top of the center back, and the diagonals at back and bust. Flossing details add luxury and hold the synthetic whalebone in place.
This style is particularly well-suited to curvier figures. It is appropriate for the 1870s, but can also work for 1880s.
Made to your measurements. A mockup is included with all Atelier orders for a fully bespoke experience.
Due to the varying availability of materials, some minor details may change such as exact lace/trims etc. We can customize most details, colors, materials, etc.
