1780's Front Lacing Stays Pattern -- Individually Sized Paper Pattern

$ 24.00

PRE-ORDER, our first print run will be ready to ship on or before May 20th.

Our 1780's Front Lacing Stays pattern is appropriate for styles from the late 1770's through early 1790's (though it can work for earlier styles--especially for short waisted individuals). The front neckline is lower and the overall length is shorter compares to our back lacing Georgian stays pattern, in keeping with the later 18th century silhouette.

The front lacing allows for easy self-dressing!

This style features an optional stomacher, alterable shoulder straps, and is designed for steel boning. An instruction booklet is included with photographic how-to instructions. We also include a supply resources sheet with US and UK based corsetry supplier recommendations and general research sources.

This pattern is recommended for those with moderate-advanced historical sewing skills. Corsets are not beginner projects.

Be sure to select the appropriate size, and contact us if you have any questions. Check out our Blog and YouTube Channel for an ever-expanding list of tutorials and demos.
