END USER License Agreement

This End User License Agreement is a binding agreement between you (“Licensee”) and Redthreaded LLC (“Redthreaded”). By purchasing the Licensed Property, You accept the terms of this Agreement on behalf of Yourself and Your organization (if any).

LICENSED PROPERTY
The Licensed Property is the Redthreaded Corsetry Curriculum (a physical printed coursework & patterns with digital supplements in multiple volumes) published by Redthreaded effective March 1, 2019.

GRANT OF LICENSE
Redthreaded hereby grants Licensee a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable License to use and copy the included Licensed Property for educational purposes at their institution (if any) in perpetuity.

AUTHORIZED USES
The Licensed Property may be used for educational purposes, including the following:

  • Right to Copy: Licensee may make unlimited physical or digital copies of the material for educational use in their own institution

UNAUTHORIZED USES
Licensee is not authorized to use the Licensed Property outside of the scope of an academic educational setting. For example:

  • The Licensee shall not use the Licensed Property for commercial purposes or share it with third parties outside of their institution, including but not limited to bulk reproduction or distribution of the Licensed Property in any form

  • The Licensee may not use this curriculum to teach for-profit/commercial classes without authorization

  • The Licensee shall not modify, remove, or obscure any copyright notices in the Licensed Property

  • The Licensee shall not publish derivative work of the Licensed Property without authorization

  • The Licensee may not use the patterns included herein to produce commercial garments for sale

ANY UNAUTHORIZED USE OF ANY OF THE LICENSED PROPERTY CONSTITUTES COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT & IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE CIVIL AND CRIMINAL, PENALTIES PROVIDED UNDER DOMESTIC & INTERNAL COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK & APPLICABLE LAWS & TREATIES.

OWNERSHIP & RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
Redthreaded is the owner of the copyright and content of the Licensed Property. Except as expressly set forth in this agreement, all rights in and to the Licensed Property are reserved by Redthreaded, including, without limitation, the right to distribute the Licensed Property. The Licensee shall make reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized uses of the Licensed Property. In the event that the Licensee becomes aware of infringement by third parties, or unauthorized uses, the Licensee will notify Redthreaded promptly.

WARRANTY
Redthreaded warrants that it is the owner of the Licensed Property and is entitled to grant the rights to which this License applies. Redthreaded makes no other warranties, express or implied. The Licensed Property is provided “as is” and Redthreaded does not warrant the accuracy or completeness, or the merchantability or fitness of the Licensed Property for any particular purpose.
