Stock Update & How to Place a Backorder

Hello folks!

You may have noticed that our stock is pretty low. We had so many events last year that we just could not keep up with demand--which is a good problem to have! We've been getting a lot of questions about re-stocking and when styles will be made etc. We're slowly working on adding stock, and we're growing our team so we can get ahead of demand. However, it's going to be a few months before we have even one of every size and style in stock. 

However, that doesn't mean you need to wait months! We have our "backorder" option to allow you to let us know what you need and get your corset faster. Backorders are almost always completed in under 6 weeks (and usually much faster than that). Because we make everything in small batches, we can quickly switch gears to get a backorder out. 

So let's go over some ordering FAQ's!

Is my corset size in stock?

The inventory on our website is not a myth--it's accurate. If you can add it to your cart, it's in stock and ready to ship. 

In this example, the button says Add to Cart, which means size XS is in stock

However, if the button says "backorder" it is not in stock.

How do I place a backorder if my corset size is out of stock? 

UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER, 2021: We have simplified our Backordering process. Now, there's no need to select "backorder" from the drop-down if a corset is out of stock. The size will automatically switch to "Backorder". Click the "Backorder" button and continue with checkout. Hooray for tech improvements!

Do I need to email you before I place a backorder, or to check if something is in stock?

Nope! That's why we offer the backorder options right in the listing, and keep website inventory numbers accurate. It's simpler for you and for us!

Can I backorder things other than corsets?

Backordering is only available for Classic Corsets. You can sign up to receive stock notifications on our other products.

Can I purchase a backorder with a payment plan?

Yes, you can use afterpay to purchase backorders. In that case, your backorder will ship once the payment plan is paid in full.

What if I absolutely need my backorder in less than 6 weeks?

Leave a note in the message to seller about your deadline. We'll contact you if it's a problem, otherwise, we'll make sure to finish your order in time.

Will you email me when my size is back in stock?

For corsets, the fastest way to get your size is to simply place a backorder. For our products where backordering is unavailable (kits, patterns, etc) you can sign up to receive email notification of re-stocks.
