1880's Victorian Corset -- IMPERFECT size S
IMPERFECT: This size S has a slightly shorter busk (whoops) but is still 100% functional and has no other faults. It is short at the bottom of CF, not the top.
The 1880's Victorian corsets are based on historical examples of the last part of the 19th century, 1880-1900 encompassing bustle and Belle Époque before the S-Bend look came into vogue. These corsets feature center front busk, a mid bust height, steel boning throughout, English cotton coutil strength layer, white cotton sateen fashion fabric, and center back lacing with two piece nickel grommets. Plus Sizing (18-26 Womens) features additional boning throughout for added support, as well as an additional front seam to provide more shaping.
These corsets nip in the waist, smooth the hips and torso, and support the bust without creating a dramatic modern push-up effect. This more natural bustline is historically appropriate. The lacing placket seam is adjustable, so you can fine tune fit.
