Georgian Stays Pattern -- Individually Sized Paper Pattern
These patterns are based on historical extant corsets, but the draft is our own, adapted to fit a woman of average modern proportion. This stays pattern is a good starting point for 18th Century, Colonial, American Revolutionary War, Rococo, and Georgian period costumes. This style features cut in one boned tabs, adjustable side seams, and is designed for steel boning. An instruction booklet is included with photographic how-to instructions. We also include a supply resources sheet with US and UK based corsetry supplier recommendations and general research sources.
This pattern is recommended for those with moderate-advanced historical sewing skills. Corsets are not beginner projects.
