The Rosine corset is dramatically curvy and eye-catching in a bright red silk satin. The pattern for this corset is adapted from an Atelier Sylphe pattern taken directly from an extant corset from the period.

The Rosine curves over the belly and has incredible bust curve which holds its shape even when not worn. Much of the support comes from the rows upon rows of jute cording. There are surprisingly few bones in this style, proving that one doesn't need a multitude of boning to achieve a dramatic shape. Appropriate for late 1880s-1899.

Made to your measurements. mockup is included with all Atelier orders for a fully bespoke experience.

Due to the varying availability of materials, some minor details may change such as exact lace/trims etc. We can customize most details, colors, materials, etc.

Details:
  • Red silk satin fashion fabric
  • Cotton coutil strength layer
  • Synthetic Whalebone in 4mm & 6mm
  • Steels at lacing edges
  • Cording throughout
  • Hand-curved metal busk, copying the curved busks in extant corsets
  • Red cotton satin ribbon binding
  • 2-piece nickel grommets
  • Drawstring at bust edge
  • Black lace trim
Atelier pricing includes all details as photographed as well as mockup. Please contact us for custom colors, fabrics, or other design changes. Let us make you something amazing.
