We're Adding Plus Size 1900's S-Bend Corsets! When we introduced the S-Bend Corset earlier this year, we became one of the only makers offering this style in ready to ship, standardized sizing. It has been very popular. Many wearers have expressed surprise at the comfort of it, since this era often gets a bit of a bad rep in that regard. Happy opening to new musical Anastasia

Tonight, the world premier of the musical Anastasia opens at Hartford Stage. We are grateful to have been a part of this production. Much of February and March were devoted to this show here at Redthreaded. We made over thirty pieces for the Russian peasants and street characters in the turn of the century St. Petersburg scenes. The costumes were designed by the supremely talented (and Tony award winning) Linda Cho. These costumes featured some amazing use of texture, materials, and trims. When I first launched the digital patterns, the end goal was always to offer printed patterns as well. It's been a long road with a lot of learning curves, and has taken longer than I expected. But I am excited to announce that Redthreaded now offers printed Georgian, Regency, and Victorian patterns! In addition, the printed Regency pattern is a "version 2.0" of sorts, with many adjustments and tweaks based on your feedback over the past two years.
